Educational School Tours at MacQueen Orchards

Third Week of September thru October 31
Tours are Available Monday-Friday
at 10:00, 11:15, 1:00, 2:00, 3:15 and 4:15
Join us for a unique educational school tour, where students will learn about the nutritional value of apples as well as the business of growing apples and vegetables at a working orchard and farm. Students tours visit the cider mill, tour the orchard, and visit our modern packing facility where they will see how the apples are washed and prepared, and then pressed to juice and pulp by our giant apple cider press to produce one of nature's finest drinks.
Tour includes:
- Educational talk
- Walk through the orchard
- Each person may pick four apples
- Tour the packing facility
- Tour the cider mill
- Each one is given a donut and a cup of cider at the end of the tour.
Tours take approximately 45 minutes.
Cost is $4.00 per person. Reservations are required.
