

Ingredients for crumb topping
Stir together dry ingredients and cut in butter till like course crumbs. Set aside.
In large bowl stir sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Add apple slices. Toss till coated.
Transfer to pie shell. Place pie on a cookie sheet to catch drippings. Bake at 375 oven for 50 - 55 minutes.
Remove from oven. Sprinkle with pecans and drizzle with caramel.
Cool on wire rack. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
